The EOS Utility and the Webcam Utility cannot be running at the same time. It runs in the background, just like the device driver for webcam that is built into a laptop. What installation and setup instructions are you following? The Webcam Utility is a device driver, which means it does not launch a window when it starts up like the EOS Utility. Your issue seems to be one of configuration. So, that would suggest your cable and USB ports are working properly. Click the button and look for the virtual camera in wherever source you're streaming to.When you say that the EOS Utility for downloading files works, I assume that you are using the same USB cable for the Webcam Utility. You should see the virtual camera button appear. Sudo apt install v4l-utils v4l2loopback-utils v4l2loopback-dkms 4. In my case, my headers are called linux-headers-5.19.0-76051900-generic So: sudo apt install Linux kernel headers for version 5.19.0 on 64 bit x86 SMP In my case, the output looked like this Sorting. But you can't install v4l2, because you're missing the kernel headers for your linux version. The problem is you're missing the v4l2 library, or Video4Linux2.
